A Human Resources Management System (HRMS) , refers to the systems and processes at the intersection between human resource management (HRM) and information technology. It merges HRM as a discipline and in particular its basic HR activities and processes with the information technology field, whereas the programming of data processing systems evolved into standardized routines and packages of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. On the whole, these ERP systems have their origin from software that integrates information from different applications into one universal database. The linkage of its financial and human resource modules through one database is the most important distinction to the individually and proprietary developed predecessors, which makes this software application both rigid and flexible.

iHRM encompass:
  • Employee Management
  • Time and attendance
  • Leave Management
  • Payroll
  • Performance appraisal
  • Recruitment
  • Employee self-service
  • Assets Management

The Employee Management automated the process of employee creation / modification of existing employee details .

The Payroll Module automates the pay process by gathering data on employee time and attendance, calculating various deductions and taxes, and generating salary slips.

The Leave Management automates the process of applying leave, approvals ,balance checking etc.

The Time and Attendance Module gathers standardized time and work related efforts. Manual Inputs as well as data obtained from Attendance marking devices (such as IRIS ID ...) are also used to calculate the total attendance.

The Performance and Appraisal automates the process of Employees’ Performance which helps to get a clear cut idea of the strength and “need improvement” areas of each employee.

Online Recruiting has become one of the primary methods employed by HR departments to garner potential candidates for available positions within an organization. iHRM includes its own recruiting module. Organizations which use iHRM can collect candidate profile through an Apply Now module of iHRM.

The Training Module provides a system for organizations to administer and track employee training and development efforts.
